Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Systems Integration Engineer to become an integral part of our team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Parsons professionals and partners, as well as the U.S. Space Force, to enhance the framework that supports OPIR applications essential for national defense.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Senior Integrator, you will:

  • Act as the primary integration liaison between mission partners and the IV&T team.
  • Develop and oversee mission-specific and system-specific integration strategies, timelines, and resources.
  • Facilitate communication of mission partner requirements across various functional teams, including development, integration, testing, and project management.
  • Support the integration of mission partner's MUS and MUA into the OPIR framework.
  • Define and coordinate use cases and requirements to ensure seamless mission and system integration.
  • Collaborate with mission partners on their integration and testing initiatives.
  • Verify that integrated applications fulfill customer specifications.
  • Maintain and revise external Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between mission partner components and the OPIR framework.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing application integration processes.
  • Integrate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) applications into designated frameworks.
  • Engage in technical discussions to strategize future integration efforts.
  • Provide expert guidance on containerization practices, microservices architecture, and system scalability.
  • Continuously enhance application integration, testing, and validation processes.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, along with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships with mission partners.
  • Experience in satellite mission operations and mission integration/testing.
  • Proficiency in defining, developing, and executing large-scale system integration plans, including a comprehensive System Integration Test Plan (SITP).
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tackle complex challenges under pressure.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in OPIR and at least 3 years in MDPAF.
  • An active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Skills:
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Familiarity with USSF FORGE MDPAF.
  • Experience in SAFe Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps automated integration.
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
  • Integration experience across hybrid platforms (Cloud, On-premise, standalone).
  • An active TS/SCI Clearance.

Clearance Requirement:
This position requires a Top Secret clearance.
