Automotive Customer Service Specialist - Holler Classic

Holler Classic, a family-operated network of automotive dealerships, features multiple new car brands and pre-owned vehicle superstores, adhering to a straightforward pricing strategy where both managers and team members foster a no-haggle sales atmosphere with a customer-first approach.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will assist vehicle owners in maintaining their automobiles and emphasize the importance of adhering to manufacturer maintenance standards. This role is vital in establishing and nurturing ongoing relationships with clients. We seek a knowledgeable Customer Service Specialist with prior experience in an automotive dealership setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome clients and gather essential customer and vehicle information
  • Identify the nature of requested services and/or concerns. Advocate for the sale of services, parts, and accessories while maintaining your role as a trusted advisor
  • Draft clear and detailed repair instructions for technicians on the service order
  • Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts
  • Communicate with service dispatch to monitor job progress throughout the day
  • Contact customers via phone or text upon job completion to review services performed
  • Collaborate with all dealership staff to ensure exceptional service quality
  • Work with manufacturers and/or warranty providers to secure pre-approval for repairs and ensure payment processes are followed
  • Maintain knowledge of products offered and their associated warranties
  • Address immediate customer service needs while using ethical methods to suggest additional services
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets established by management
  • Test drive vehicles as necessary to confirm that repairs have been completed satisfactorily. Quality control checks significantly enhance customer satisfaction and reduce return visits
  • Always prioritize: Getting the vehicle repaired correctly on the first attempt
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Successful completion of background checks
