Position Summary
Greenway Ford is seeking a knowledgeable Parts Counter Specialist. This role requires an individual who possesses extensive expertise in automotive components and accessories, capable of addressing inquiries and fulfilling customer needs both in-person and via phone. The specialist will efficiently identify automotive parts from the existing inventory or alternative sources (such as vendors, online platforms, or other dealerships) and coordinate their delivery and installation.
Ideal Candidate
The preferred candidate will have a high school diploma or GED along with prior experience in automotive parts and accessories. Essential qualities include a friendly and professional demeanor, exceptional customer service and organizational abilities, proficient phone and computer skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and arrange for the installation of automotive accessories or parts.
- Oversee parts inventory and ensure the storage area is well-maintained.
- Stay informed about all vehicles, accessories, and promotional offers.
- Maintain precise sales documentation.
- Provide timely and accurate reports as necessary.
