The Opportunity

The Senior Finance Business Analyst (Lead) is a pivotal full-time role dedicated to assessing finance system challenges and executing solutions within our corporate technology frameworks. This position serves the finance user community by gathering, configuring, and managing requirements and specifications, while also overseeing various testing methodologies, including test plans, scripts, unit testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure successful development and validation of outcomes.

The Finance Business Analyst will report directly to the head of Corporate Applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of requirements, product configuration, and user acceptance testing for finance-related systems.
  • Assess solution alternatives, configure, demonstrate, and provide recommendations within the context of finance D365 F&O and other technology platforms.
  • Collaborate with global finance teams to deliver scalable product configurations and support across various regions.
  • Oversee small-scale projects associated with finance platforms.
  • Facilitate requirements review and design discussions with business stakeholders.
  • Maintain Business Use Cases and Process Flows, adapting to requirement changes.
  • Act as a key liaison between business needs and technical solutions delivery teams.
  • Deliver engaging and informative technical and business presentations.
  • Provide regular updates on progress metrics.
  • Train users on system usage in accordance with best practices.
  • Offer ongoing business support.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience implementing D365 F&O/AX ERP applications, with in-depth knowledge of finance accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable, and finance reporting modules.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, particularly in data validation, pivot tables, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in business workflow modeling.
  • Strong project and product planning capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of SOX compliance.
  • Solid grasp of source control, unit testing, and continuous integration practices.
  • Deep understanding of relational database design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with planning tools such as Oracle HFM and Workiva.
  • Familiarity with SAP Concur.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other query languages.
  • Experience with Lean and Agile (Scrum) development methodologies.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $143,000 to $178,000, with eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonuses.
