Senior Business Applications Analyst (Remote)
We are seeking a contract Senior Business Applications Analyst to collaborate with a prestigious academic medical institution. The Senior Business Applications Analyst will engage with external partners, system stakeholders, community collaborators, contractors, and executive leadership to architect, develop, implement, and operationalize Business Application information systems.
Remote Position. Must adhere to Pacific Time hours.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and document design specifications based on user requirements and generate gap analyses.
- Define and develop system scope and objectives, analyze and evaluate current or proposed systems, and devise or modify procedures to address challenges using data processing.
- Serve as an application administrator by ensuring data integrity, maintaining system security, extracting, analyzing, and transforming data, facilitating communication between users and vendors, and managing software upgrades, implementations, and conversions.
- Ensure system functionality and design support workflow efficiency and enhance user and departmental productivity.
- Analyze, plan, design, create, and maintain intermediate to advanced level reports utilizing various technologies, including but not limited to SQL, QlikView, Lawson Business Intelligence, Infor Business Intelligence, and Kronos Genies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience of 9 years without a Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in an Information Systems Healthcare Environment.
- 2 years of experience in full life cycle implementations, encompassing scoping/planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live support.
- Familiarity with Kronos, Lawson, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Finance, and/or Procurement/Supply Chain systems.
