Senior Business Applications Analyst (Remote)
We are seeking a contract Senior Business Applications Analyst to collaborate with a premier academic medical institution. This role involves engaging with external partners, system stakeholders, community collaborators, contractors, and leadership to architect, develop, implement, and operationalize Business Application information systems.
Work Environment: Remote position with a requirement to operate during Pacific hours.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify and document design specifications based on user requirements, producing need-gap assessments.
- Define and develop system objectives, analyze existing or proposed systems, and create or adjust procedures to address challenges using data processing.
- Serve as an application administrator, ensuring data accuracy, maintaining system security, extracting and analyzing data, facilitating communication between users and vendors, and managing software upgrades and implementations.
- Ensure system functionality and design support workflow efficiency and enhance user and departmental productivity.
- Analyze, plan, design, create, and maintain intermediate to advanced level reports utilizing various technologies, including but not limited to SQL, QlikView, Lawson Business Intelligence, Infor Business Intelligence, and Kronos Genies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience of 9 years without a Bachelor's degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in an Information Systems Healthcare environment.
- 2 years of experience in full life cycle implementations, covering scoping/planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live support.
- Familiarity with Kronos, Lawson, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Finance, and/or Procurement/Supply Chain systems.
