Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert product knowledge, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting relevant products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their business needs and preferences
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, driving revenue growth and profitability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and product inventory
  • Stay knowledgeable about products, services, and industry trends, providing expert advice and recommendations to customers
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English; proficiency in Spanish a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally; willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license; at least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products; knowledge of tinting and mixing equipment a plus
