Position Overview

Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 based on experience.

John McNeil Studio is seeking a Creative Project Coordinator to enhance our dynamic team. We are a forward-thinking marketing agency comprised of a diverse array of talents: strategists, writers, designers, filmmakers, technologists, and photographers dedicated to assisting brands in their digital evolution. Our foundation is built on both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality, enabling brands to flourish.

The Creative Project Coordinator will be pivotal in collaborating with our creative teams and clients. In this role, you will oversee the effective execution of campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget while fulfilling both client and organizational expectations. You will engage in regular communication with clients, project managers, executives, and studio creatives, focusing on efficient production methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the creative, social, interactive, print, and broadcast teams to define and estimate project deliverables while communicating plans to clients.
  • Evaluate incoming project requests, understand client requirements, and guide projects from initial concept through design, development, and final delivery.
  • Develop and oversee Statements of Work, project plans, and timelines for multiple simultaneous projects, allocating resources as necessary.
  • Generate precise cost estimates and manage resources to ensure projects remain within financial parameters.
  • Identify activities that fall outside the project scope and manage requests for changes.
  • Proactively oversee projects with regular status updates, recognizing dependencies and escalating issues when required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an agency environment or a related creative field is essential.
  • Familiarity with web and interactive project management.
  • Comfortable with technology and knowledgeable about web platforms, software, and hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Skilled in engaging with senior executives both internally and externally.
  • Adept at reading interpersonal dynamics within a team setting.
  • Experience managing both traditional and social media projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage communications across all levels.
  • Genuine interest in art and design.
