Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Success Staffing Agency. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.

Position Levels:
This role is available for both Staff Engineer I and II positions. The Staff Engineer I should be in the process of obtaining or have already passed the EIT examination, while the Staff Engineer II is expected to have passed the EIT examination and be working towards the Civil Engineer license in California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preliminary site assessments for potential engineering projects.
  • Coordinate and execute exploratory drilling operations for new projects, including the installation of monitoring systems.
  • Perform construction oversight and testing throughout the construction phase.
  • Engage in pier drilling, fill placement, subdrain installation, and excavation tasks.
  • Prepare site plans, cross-sections, and other essential documentation for project reports.
  • Compile and analyze data from municipal records.
  • Assist in the preparation of foundation investigation reports and construction observation reports, ensuring thorough review by supervising engineers.
  • Support litigation projects through data organization and laboratory testing.
  • Utilize engineering software for analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications:
The Staff Engineer I typically requires less experience, while the Staff Engineer II should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, demonstrating increased responsibility and independent engineering judgment.
