Regional Clinical Operations Director

About the Role:

The Regional Clinical Operations Director will serve as the primary clinical resource for assigned facilities, partnering with management to achieve clinical excellence and develop innovative clinical programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with facility leadership to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct facility reviews, including mock survey visits, to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure consistency with Standards of Professional Practice and company standards.
  • Provide educational resources and support to facility nursing teams to enhance clinical decision-making.
  • Design and implement learning activities and formal educational programs to promote clinical excellence.

Leadership and Management:

  • Apply leadership skills to direct and assist others towards defined goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with internal staff and external partners.
  • Assist in managing challenges and facilitating the team towards desired outcomes.
  • Facilitate the Interdisciplinary Team in Care Management processes.

Financial Acumen:

  • Assist in analysis and direction of nursing department budget.
  • Assist in analysis of nursing labor hours.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure accurate reimbursement and authorization.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Regional experience preferred.
  • 5 years long-term care experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years as a Director of Nursing.
