We are seeking a committed and skilled Nurse Consultant/Regional Director of Clinical Operations to enhance our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Regional Director of Clinical Operations for designated facilities, working closely with essential roles such as the Regional Director of Operations, Director of Staff Development, and Facility Rehab Director.
  • Support facility management in the execution of resident care policies, procedures, and organizational standards.
  • Conduct thorough facility assessments, including mock surveys, to verify adherence to regulations and company standards.
  • Deliver reports and actionable recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Engage effectively with leadership to resolve issues and implement solutions.

Clinical Oversight:

  • Supervise interdisciplinary clinical processes to maintain quality assurance.
  • Provide educational resources for nursing teams to facilitate informed clinical decision-making.
  • Design and execute educational initiatives to improve resident care.
  • Identify care practice trends and spearhead quality enhancement projects.
  • Assess nursing practices for alignment with professional standards and regulatory mandates.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Employ leadership abilities to steer individuals towards shared objectives.
  • Connect personnel and resources essential for achieving established goals.
  • Address challenges and promote effective team collaboration.
  • Establish communication pathways with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage in the recruitment process for Director of Nursing Services positions.
  • Assist the Interdisciplinary Team in Care Management processes.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the evaluation and guidance of nursing department budgets.
  • Analyze nursing labor hours for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Understand payment systems and assessment processes for reimbursement.
  • Oversee HMO, Change of Condition, and Level Authorization procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license (in good standing) in Texas.
  • Preferred regional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Director of Nursing role.
