Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with strategic accounts to design and implement solutions that address educational procurement challenges.
  2. Drive and accelerate spend adoption through advising customers on best practices for using Amazon Business solutions.
  3. Deliver weekly reporting on growth pipeline and customer spend adoption.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team and leadership to provide status updates and insights learned during deployment.
  5. Focus on automating service needs for customers and work with Product Management and Technical teams to develop solutions that increase adoption.
  6. Meet or exceed targets for customer and/or feature spend adoption.
  7. Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams.
  8. Travel for internal business presentations and customer meetings (10-25%).
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of B2B and/or Enterprise sales experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning the sales life cycle.
  • Demonstrated track record of positioning and selling solutions to new and existing customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of sales experience selling to Fortune 1000 senior leadership.
  • Experience selling to procurement and/or supply chain roles.
  • Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRMs, and other systems.
  • Experience owning customer-facing communication.
  • Demonstrated success identifying, prioritizing, developing, and growing a book of strategic customer accounts.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
