Job Summary

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Front End Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the set up, operation, and maintenance of our cupping press, body makers, trimmers, and conveying systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and load coils onto the unwinder and feed coils through lubricator and into press.
  • Set up, maintain, and operate the upender, unwinder, lubricator, and cupping press.
  • Set up, maintain, and operate the body makers, trimmers, and conveying systems.
  • Monitor and record can specifications, including flange wall thickness, mid-wall thickness, dome depth, and trim can height.
  • Perform visual checks and cup weights to ensure process compliance.
  • Assist in other areas as needed to maintain smooth can flow through the plant.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and machines, and practice proper safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical components.
  • Ability to use precision measurement devices.
