Job Summary:

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Front End Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our front end machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all front end equipment to minimize unscheduled downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair front end production and support equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Train Front End Maintainers on equipment operation and maintenance requirements, and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform periodic machinery testing and inspection to determine alignment, wear, and operating efficiency, and complete required documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist in other areas as needed to maintain smooth production flow through the plant, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, basic knowledge of electrical components, and ability to use precision measurement devices.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication: Ability to train others and answer questions on machinery, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
