Front End Preventative Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:

As a Front End Preventative Maintenance Mechanic at Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of front end machinery by performing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on front end equipment to prevent unscheduled downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and perform repairs in a safe and timely manner.
  • Train and mentor front end maintainers on equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
  • Perform periodic machinery testing and inspection to determine alignment, wear, and operating efficiency.
  • Complete required documentation on machine maintenance and test results.
  • Assist in other areas as needed to maintain smooth production flow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to train and mentor others on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical components.
  • Ability to use precision measurement devices.
