Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Mitigate Safety Risks
    • Recognize and correct unsafe conditions, guarding, procedures, or personnel actions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance
    • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all front-end equipment as required to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment
    • Diagnose and repair front-end production and support equipment in a safe and timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
  • Train and Develop Team Members
    • Train front-end maintainers on equipment operation and maintenance requirements to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct Equipment Inspections
    • Perform periodic machinery testing and inspection to determine alignment, wear, and operating efficiency, and complete required documentation on machine maintenance and test results.
  • Support Plant Operations
    • Assist in other areas as needed to maintain smooth production flow through the plant, and maintain cleanliness of all work areas and machines.

Requirements

  • Training and Development
    • Ability to train others and answer questions on machinery to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Problem-Solving and Teamwork
    • Ability to work independently and with a team to resolve complex problems and ensure seamless production operations.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills, with a working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, and basic knowledge of electrical components.
  • Measurement and Documentation
    • Ability to use precision measurement devices, such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators, and complete required documentation on machine maintenance and test results.
