Business Development Leader, Legal Industry

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director, Commercial Banking to drive business expansion and relationship management in the legal industry. This key role will execute our strategic plan, guide the team, and meet annual growth targets.
The ideal candidate will take a holistic approach to relationship management, developing new opportunities and working with existing customers. They will leverage their network and portfolio to identify additional prospects within the legal sector and devote significant time to prospect development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Grow the deposit portfolio for the Juris Banking organization.
- Meet sales objectives, manage portfolio health, and adapt to market dynamics.
- Execute the strategy outlined by the Managing Director.
- Maintain a deep understanding of internal bank departments and processes to source prospects and develop new customer relationships.
- Foster strong relationships with senior leaders and peers, ensuring smooth transitions of business opportunities into booked transactions and ongoing relationships.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of direct experience in lending and/or Deposit sales.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations and juris banking products and services.
- Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is estimated at $200,000 - $265,384 per annum, depending on location and experience. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonuses and stock incentives.
