Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic leader to join our team as a Sales Team Leader in the wireless industry. As a key member of our retail sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by assisting the Store Manager with leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manager in leading, developing, and motivating the location's sales team and creating a positive and productive environment.
  • Assist in overall store operations while being accountable for personal/store sales and the development of a motivated team.
  • Effectively manage customer traffic visiting the store and balance wait times.
  • Stay current on all products, services, and promotions and assist the Store Manager in educating others about relevant information.
  • Ensure the location is fully staffed at all times.
  • Assist the Store Manager with recruiting new talent to the team.
  • Ensure the store always looks its best and complies with T-Mobile merchandising requirements.
  • Support store operations and ensure compliance with guidelines set by T-Mobile and Verge Mobile, including merchandising, inventory/shrinkage, and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 2 years of previous experience in the restaurant, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service industry (previous wireless retail sales experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry standards and technology is preferred.
  • A track record of achieving sales quotas/goals.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Sales and sales management experience.
  • Operational and financial management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Capable of building trusting relationships.
  • Exhibits a can-do attitude that is positive, supportive, and cooperative.
  • A team player who can work well with staff and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
  • Can effectively balance customer needs and performance goals.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts throughout the week, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand long periods of time.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check (will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all laws).
