About The Opportunity
The primary mission of City Experiences is to craft unforgettable moments for our guests. The successful Sales Support Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the account management team by driving prospecting initiatives and overseeing the post-booking sales process to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and optimized revenue.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Focus
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of all regional offerings, including vessels, products, pricing, and promotional strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Meet weekly prospecting targets through proactive outreach to identify potential leads for the account management team.
- Efficiently manage incoming inquiries and maintain engagement with clients before transitioning them to an account manager.
- Present pricing confidently to keep clients engaged and boost sales.
- Address objections effectively using comprehensive product knowledge.
- Lead post-contract follow-ups, including adjustments and upselling opportunities, to drive additional revenue.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to conduct site visits and meet clients as required.
- Attend networking events to increase brand awareness in local markets.
- Serve as a resource for the national sales team, conducting site visits and welcoming clients as needed.

Guest Service
- After closing a sale, take on the role of event coordinator, managing all details related to cruises, particularly public dining and charter orders.
- Ensure meticulous communication of product details to the Food & Beverage and Operations teams for flawless execution.
- Be present during detailed events, acting as a liaison between sales and operations.
- Step in for the event coordination team when necessary to ensure readiness.
- Drive post-cruise follow-ups, expressing gratitude to guests, gathering feedback, and encouraging referrals.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director of Sales to resolve guest issues promptly.

Administrative Duties
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to plan and manage activities within assigned markets and track sales productivity.
- Accurately book and manage reservations and cruise details using Salesforce CRM and Reservation systems.
- Maintain strong organizational skills through effective time management and prioritization.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports as directed by the Regional Director of Sales.
- Compile necessary reports for bi-weekly meetings, ensuring visibility of cruise details for sales and operations teams.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 1 year of experience in a sales support or sales role.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Focus on guest needs and meet deadlines.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong listening skills to assess situations and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
