About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Dev2Work. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, leading projects, and managing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop fully integrated mechanical assembly systems to meet process requirements, complying with local and government agency design/implementation codes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer requirements.
  • Team Management: Manage and guide lower-level engineers, technicians, and contractors to achieve project goals.
  • System Analysis: Perform system analysis/calculations, including stress, fatigue, reliability, life expectancy, and tolerance studies.
  • Ride System Design: Design and develop ride systems for attractions, considering guest accelerations, reach envelope, ingress/egress, weight, and emergency evacuation analysis.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation, including theory/description of operation, detailed mechanical system design description, and system implementation/acceptance test plans.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mechanical engineering, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, stress analysis, and acceleration forces.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, knowledge of amusement ride safety standards (ASTM Standards), and excellent communication and project management skills.
