Job Summary

FastLane Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing fully integrated mechanical assembly systems to meet process requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical assembly systems to meet process requirements
  • Develop and implement system configuration and design documents
  • Develop drawings of mechanical design, assemblies, and installation procedures using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks software
  • Perform system analysis and calculations, including stress, fatigue, reliability, life expectancy, and tolerance studies
  • Design and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems
  • Assist with the initial start-up and debugging of integrated systems and the development of system documentation
  • Act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers, technicians, and contractors
  • Develop and execute implementation plans for projects
  • Evaluate progress on projects and detail changes
  • Responsible for all purchasing and subcontractor requirements
  • Responsible for the development of costs and proposal of change orders to contract scope
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems, components, stress analysis, acceleration forces, and knowledge of amusement ride safety standards (ASTM Standards)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of contract documents and specifications
  • Ability to collect field data and accurately record findings
  • Ability to perform system design functions
  • Planning, customer-focused, timely decision-making, informing, organizing, priority-setting, problem-solving
  • Ability to travel up to 35%
