The Mechanical Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems for packaging machinery, utilizing existing designs or a compilation of designs to achieve optimal performance at cost-effective rates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop standard machinery designs tailored to meet our clients' packaging requirements and enhance packaging processes.
- Employ 3D solid modeling techniques to create mechanical designs from a collection of industry-standard models, fostering innovative machinery solutions for evolving customer demands.

- Ensure precision in calculations related to kinematics, dynamics, pneumatics, and servo motion analysis essential for the design of automation mechanisms and equipment.

- Generate and maintain mechanical bills of materials in an organized format, submitting them to production for the manufacturing of specific equipment.

- Create detailed working drawings that facilitate economical manufacturing practices.

- Research and select purchased mechanical components to ensure proper sizing and functionality of mechanical devices.

- Develop assembly drawings for production and customer reference, aiding in component identification.

- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and quality enhancement of mechanical designs for our machinery.

- Comprehend customer mechanical specifications and requirements for their packaging operations, and assist technical writers in the preparation of machine documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is preferred or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical and pneumatic design of packaging machinery is required.
- Proven design experience is essential.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling is mandatory.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship. Only US citizens and Green Card holders will be considered. Relocation assistance is not provided for candidates outside the continental US.
