The Apple IS&T Splunk team is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Splunk Systems Administrator. This role involves managing multiple large-scale Splunk enterprise clusters that handle significant data volumes across various use cases.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-driven, enthusiastic, and results-oriented individual to oversee Splunk deployments that support Apple's business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with various teams to integrate logs into Splunk, understand their needs, and develop effective searches and dashboards.
2. Enhance the performance of Splunk searches, dashboards, and data ingestion processes.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Splunk deployments.
4. Create and maintain custom Python scripts for integration with Splunk.

Minimum Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Splunk application development and management.
• Hands-on experience in managing distributed Splunk enterprise cluster infrastructure and related components.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and data visualization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in a programming language, such as Python.
• Proven track record of managing projects with timely delivery.
• Ability to think creatively and add value to user teams.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and their implementation.

Education & Experience:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in the Information Technology sector.
