Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Kubernetes Clusters: Utilize expertise in Kubernetes system development to design and develop scalable and highly available clusters.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Leverage knowledge of Docker, Helm charts, and KubeBuilder to containerize applications and manage their orchestration.
  • CRD Development: Build and maintain Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) to extend Kubernetes functionality.
  • Go Development: Develop applications using Golang, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Programming Languages: Develop applications in PHP, Python, Java, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Develop Operators: Create operators for multiple Apple services and integrations.
    • Update Base Images and Scaffoldings: Update base images and scaffoldings for applications to ensure consistency and efficiency.
    • Unit Testing and Development: Develop unit tests for operators and APIs to ensure high-quality code.
    • Observability Features: Develop observability features using Splunk, Prometheus, and other tools to monitor and troubleshoot applications.
    • System Administration: Perform sysadmin tasks as needed to assist the global team in day-to-day work.
    • Documentation and Support: Document support requests and build documentation and troubleshooting guides to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
