As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting multiple clients systems infrastructure needs for both on premise and in the cloud. This includes but is not limited to network security, infrastructure design, office build outs, building moves, remote connectivity, virtualization, on premise to cloud migrations, etc. In addition, you will provide level 3 support to our Help Desk and Desktop Support teams.

An ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about technology, and naturally curious. KDI is looking for someone who enjoys taking an outside the box approach to unique problems by bending existing toolsets.

Daily Objectives

Maintain client's server infrastructure including provisioning , configuration, patch management, updates, backup & restore
Monitor client's server infrastructure for uptime
Proactively resolve issues
Leverage automation tools to optimize workflows
Design and implement custom infrastructure for unique client requirements
Troubleshoot common Server/Systems issues
Work with business process owners to write and implement policy such as access controls, business continuity plans and backup/retention policies

Qualifications and Skills
2+ yrs. as a System Administrator with Windows Server /Active Directory /DFS /DNS /DHCP & current technologies
3+ yrs experience with infrastructure automation , configuration management and scripting tools (bash, powershell, ansible, terraform, chef, puppet, cloud formation)
4+ yrs experience with hypervisor configuration (VMware ESXi)
2+ yrs experience with AWS infrastructure & services
2+ yrs experience with Linux OS
2+ years of experience with Networking Hardware
Experience with Storage of large amounts of data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to write and maintain technical documentation
Desired Skills
Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
Working knowledge of VLAN/Subnet designs, 802.1x wired and wireless
Experience with Azure and GCP, Office 365, Google Workspaces, etc.
Infrastructure Monitoring tools
Working knowledge of PKI (Windows CA, LetsEncrypt)
Working knowledge of AWS Devops Tools suite
Working knowledge of Pure storage
