We are dedicated to providing our patrons with an extraordinary experience that emphasizes seasonal ingredients and high-quality products.

Role Summary:
We are in search of a talented and imaginative Beverage Manager to oversee our beverage program. This pivotal role encompasses the management of wine and spirits procurement, cocktail and wine menu design, and enhancing the overall guest experience. The Beverage Manager will be responsible for supervising our bar operations and ensuring that our beverage offerings consistently exceed expectations. This position also involves managing restaurant shifts and overseeing daily operations to guarantee a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Beverage Program Oversight:
    • Curate and develop a diverse wine list featuring selections from both Old and New World regions.
    • Design innovative craft cocktails and classic drinks with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients.
    • Encourage experimentation with barrel aging techniques and house-made bitters and syrups.
    • Regularly refresh the beverage menu to align with seasonal trends and innovations.
    • Conduct engaging cocktail and wine classes that offer guests an interactive learning experience.
    • Lead staff training sessions focused on enhancing product knowledge and service excellence.
    • Ensure the quality and presentation of all beverages served meets high standards.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee the inventory of wines, spirits, and bar supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Manage supplier orders, negotiate pricing, and cultivate strong vendor relationships.
    • Monitor beverage costs to align with budgetary objectives.
  • Shift Leadership:
    • Act as the Manager on Duty during shifts, overseeing all operational aspects.
    • Inspire and guide the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
    • Address guest inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the team to create and implement beverage-centric events and promotions.
    • Assist in planning and executing special events, private gatherings, and tastings.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Beverage Manager, Bar Manager, or in a similar capacity within a high-end establishment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktail preparation, with a focus on both Old and New World selections.
  • Experience with barrel aging and crafting house-made mixers and syrups.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, with a proven ability to oversee a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in inventory management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
