Position Overview

This role entails a hands-on supervisory capacity within the designated nursing unit. The LPN Team Leader will oversee Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants, stepping in during their absence or when additional support is required. This position may also involve direct patient care responsibilities, including administering medications, providing essential skin care, and assisting in the adjustment of treatment plans to address patients' physical and emotional needs. The LPN Team Leader will reorganize and adjust staff assignments based on the needs of the facility and will develop, implement, and modify care interventions as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Possession of a valid Washington Licensed Practical Nurse license upon hire.
  • Certification in National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in long-term care or related geriatric settings, including prior supervisory or teaching experience.
