Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Production Supervisor to manage and direct all production operations within our organization. This role is crucial for ensuring that our production lines operate smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Supervisor, your primary duties will include:

  • Leadership: Directing and mentoring production staff through lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Quality Control: Monitoring the labeling, filling, and packaging processes to guarantee product integrity as it moves through the production line.
  • Resource Management: Ensuring that all production lines are equipped with the necessary tools and materials for optimal operation.
  • Changeover Management: Overseeing product changeovers and ensuring that all line stations are prepared with the correct equipment and personnel.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying and reporting any machinery or equipment issues to the Plant Manager promptly.
  • Sanitation Oversight: Supervising the cleaning and maintenance of all production equipment to comply with health regulations.
  • Maintenance Duties: Performing basic maintenance tasks and preventive upkeep based on your skill set.
  • Project Involvement: Participating in special projects as required.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on KPIs and lean methodologies.
  • Experience in environments emphasizing continuous improvement and performance metrics.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • The ability to conduct routine maintenance and basic repairs on machinery.
  • Physical capability to lift various items safely.
  • Strong multitasking skills to oversee multiple production lines effectively.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • A keen attention to detail and the capacity to follow instructions accurately.
