The Boeing Company is in search of a Senior Manager of Facilities Operations to become a vital part of our team within the Puget Sound region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of the Facilities Operations team, emphasizing maintenance and custodial services for various Boeing programs and products.
- Ensure 24/7 support for facilities management activities, driving enhancements to align with industry standards.
- Lead and mentor first-level managers in areas such as custodial services, facilities assessment, construction, and maintenance.
- Formulate and execute integrated departmental strategies, policies, and procedures while contributing to business and technical strategies.
- Secure resources for departmental initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and spearhead process improvements.
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers, peers, business partners, and team members.
- Provide oversight and validation of technical methodologies, products, and processes.
- Engage in equipment make/buy decisions and source selection, ensuring technical oversight and integration of supplier activities.
- Develop, motivate, and manage team members and first-level managers.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and execute recurring and planned work statements.
- Collaborate daily with business partners, contractors, and team members.
- Utilize communication, problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and financial acumen.
Work Environment:
This position requires 100% onsite presence at one of the designated locations.
Compliance Requirements:
This role must adhere to Export Control compliance requirements, necessitating a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in team leadership and direct report management.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and metrics evaluation to identify organizational needs.
- 3+ years of experience in strategy development and execution to meet organizational goals.
- 1+ years of experience in a unionized environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in leading construction and maintenance projects.
- 3+ years of experience in developing long-term strategic business plans and budget management.
- Experience in facilities maintenance and custodial services.
