Job Overview

MetaOps, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development Specialist to drive growth and expansion in the manufacturing and operations sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and collaborating with our sales team to secure appointments and close deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and develop targeted prospect lists using industry-specific tools and databases
  • Utilize CRM software to manage client interactions, track leads, and analyze sales performance
  • Develop and execute effective outreach strategies, including email campaigns, phone calls, and in-person meetings
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Provide support to the sales team in preparing for client meetings and presentations
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in continuous improvement and lean six sigma
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing and operations sector
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
