Job Overview

Position Summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is actively seeking qualified Registered Pharmacists (RPH) to contribute to our mission in supporting a federal pharmacy facility. Our pharmacists play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation of prescriptions and packages, maintaining high standards of service and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough pharmaceutical verification of prescription orders, including legend, OTC, Medical Surgical (Med/Surg), and Controlled Substances.
  • Evaluate drug orders and ensure accurate cross-matching with medications at verification stations.
  • Pre-verify medications for dispensing into prescription containers using specialized equipment.
  • Complete verification and filling of controlled substance orders, including Schedules III, IV, and V.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance processes and supervise Pharmacy Technicians.
  • Adhere to documentation policies and reporting requirements to comply with federal regulations.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies such as unusual dosages or medication errors in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure comprehensive checking, labeling, and quality assurance in line with federal guidelines regarding pharmaceutical products.
  • Compound and dispense medications while adhering to corporate and regulatory standards for controlled substances.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Graduation from an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited institution is required. Candidates with recent disciplinary actions must be reviewed by management prior to hiring.
  • Possession of a license for controlled substances is mandatory, with qualifications to practice in multiple states.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills are essential for collaboration with colleagues and staff.
  • Basic typing and computer skills, along with proficiency in MS Office, are required.
  • Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is necessary as per federal regulations.
  • Candidates must be able to pass VetPro certification, a credentialing requirement for all licensed healthcare providers.
  • Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8-10 hours) and lift up to 30 pounds repetitively is necessary.
  • No sponsorship is available for this position.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach overhead during the work shift.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
  • Ability to carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
  • Push/pull with a force of up to 30 lbs.
