Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Permanent Field Service Engineer. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your engineering expertise in a hands-on environment, blending technical problem-solving with customer engagement and field operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Field Service Engineer, your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering on-site technical assistance to clients, including diagnosing and repairing intricate machinery and systems.
  • Conducting regular maintenance and inspections on equipment, identifying potential issues, and implementing preventative measures to ensure peak performance.
  • Applying your expertise in wiring and PLC to install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Formulating and executing solutions for technical challenges, utilizing your troubleshooting abilities to minimize disruptions to client operations.
  • Providing outstanding customer service, effectively communicating with clients to understand their requirements and concerns, and delivering clear, concise, and accurate information.
  • Documenting all work performed through detailed service reports and offering recommendations for future service needs.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to share insights, enhance processes, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our service offerings.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the role of Permanent Field Service Engineer, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in wiring, PLC, troubleshooting, and field service.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to think critically and devise innovative solutions to technical issues.
  • Strong customer service aptitude, with effective communication skills to build robust client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously, managing time and workload efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to provide on-site support to clients in various locations.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and development, staying informed about the latest technologies and industry advancements.
