Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Permanent Field Service Technician to enhance our dynamic engineering team. This role is crucial for the maintenance, installation, and integration of various analyzers, particularly focusing on hydrocarbon and continuous gas analyzers. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in heat tracing, PLC integrations, continuous emission monitoring, and preventative maintenance. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in diverse projects across the petrochemical, pipeline, refinery, and oil & gas industries, including commissioning startups that demand high technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Field Service Technician, your primary duties will include:

1. Installation, calibration, and upkeep of various analyzers, especially hydrocarbon and continuous gas analyzers.
2. Ensuring effective operation of heat tracing systems and executing PLC integrations.
3. Conducting regular preventative maintenance to guarantee optimal equipment performance.
4. Continuously monitoring emissions and taking necessary actions to maintain compliance with established guidelines.
5. Providing technical assistance during the commissioning startup phase of various projects.
6. Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
7. Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
8. Traveling to different project sites as necessary.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Field Service Technician role will possess:

1. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position within the engineering sector.
2. Extensive knowledge of analyzers, heat tracing, PLC integrations, and preventative maintenance practices.
3. Proven experience in the petrochemical, pipeline, refinery, and oil & gas sectors.
4. Strong understanding of continuous emission monitoring systems.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and efficient troubleshooting skills.
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
8. Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
9. Relevant certifications or qualifications would be advantageous.
