Key Responsibilities:

  • RTU Proficiency: Offer specialized guidance on Measurement RTUs and related devices (ControlWave, AutoExec, AutoFlex, AutoPilot, Bristol 33xx, Benchmark, Floboss).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Field Technicians, Regional Measurement Engineers, and Business Partners to guarantee accurate gas volume measurement, operational safety, and data reliability.
  • Documentation: Create high-quality technical documents and training materials for field personnel.
  • Training & Assistance: Provide training and expert troubleshooting support for field staff, both remotely and on-site as required.
  • Liaison Duties: Serve as a point of contact for business users, assisting with data and interface requirements related to measurement processes.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of natural gas measurement calculations, meters (orifice, rotary, turbine, Coriolis, ultrasonic), and communication protocols.
  • RTU Software Skills: Proficient in software applications for RTU communication and management.
  • Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interpersonal Abilities: Excellent capability to support field technicians, team members, data clients, and management.
  • System Understanding: Comprehensive knowledge of systems interfacing with measurement data for pipeline operations and control.
  • Test Plan Experience: Background in developing and executing test plans for equipment.
  • Training & Documentation Skills: Expertise in crafting instructional materials and training for field technicians.
  • Troubleshooting Expertise: Advanced skills in diagnosing and resolving complex issues with field personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree in a relevant measurement discipline.
  • Experience: Over 5 years of experience in natural gas measurement.
