Volt is seeking a Technical Field Operations Specialist to join our team, focusing on dynamic roles across various regions.

As a Technical Field Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our organization.
From gathering vital information to strategizing for future advancements, you will oversee, execute, and document field operations while collaborating with engineers and specialists on critical tasks.

Your training will be immersive, allowing you to gain in-depth knowledge of the energy sector and become proficient in the diverse equipment and services we offer.

We expect you to absorb a wealth of information quickly, and you will receive the autonomy and guidance necessary to make a significant impact and begin your journey as a leader in the energy industry.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute installation, maintenance, and ensure the performance and reliability of equipment.
  • Oversee field operations, including engineering design, maintenance, project planning, and operational documentation.
  • Assist engineers and specialists on-site with essential tasks, including risk assessments.
  • Program and commission control systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Develop necessary software and support the integration and initiation of control systems.
  • Provide comprehensive written and verbal reports to stakeholders.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.


Qualifications:


Candidates must possess experience with Rockwell PLCs (Logix 5000), Wonderware HMI, Plant Pax, Delta-V, Yokogawa, or a similar combination of programming and commissioning experience.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied sciences, or 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field is required.

We seek individuals who are driven, dedicated, and possess a strong sense of integrity, aiming to be part of a highly respected team in the industry.

Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, enjoy outdoor work, and be willing to travel, as training and projects will vary, with generous travel allowances.

Positions are available with a rotation schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off, allowing you to utilize your time off as you wish.

Some offshore work may be required, with all necessary safety training provided.


Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 annually. The offered pay will be based on various factors, including education, experience, job location, specific duties, and certifications.
