Job Summary

Catholic Social Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Manager II to join our Homeless Family Services team. As a key member of our program, you will be responsible for providing direct program support to case managers and serving as a main point of contact for case management oversight within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise HFS case managers in BFS and Community Based teams
  • Improve and maintain an effective case management system
  • Conduct screenings with potential clients and advocate for the homeless at relevant community meetings
  • Monitor financial reports, code and approve check requests, and operate within approved budget
  • Ensure smooth operations of program through regular physical file and Apricot audits
  • Recruit, screen, hire, train, and supervise staff
  • Maintain regular communication with Senior Director regarding program needs, successes, and outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a health or human services field
  • Four years of experience may be substituted for required experience
  • Two years of experience working with vulnerable adults
  • One year of supervisory experience required
Work Environment

The work environment is generally that of a typical shared indoor office space. Case Managers can also expect to do outreach and case management in shelters and agencies throughout the community, in housing obtained for clients or public settings for unhoused clients.

Frequently sitting or standing at a desk for several hours at a time. Driving is required.
