Skender Group LLC is actively looking for a Construction Site Laborer to join our skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

The role of a laborer at Skender involves undertaking various physical tasks for commercial and tenant improvement projects. Responsibilities may include operating hand and power tools, preparing and cleaning job sites, excavating, erecting scaffolding, managing debris removal, and supporting other skilled tradespeople.

  • Execute a range of manual labor tasks on construction sites.
  • Ensure a tidy work environment: gather all tools and equipment and secure the site daily to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Handle and store materials efficiently.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles and transport materials as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and incident reporting procedures, promptly addressing any issues with the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Must maintain good standing with the union.
  • Experience in demolition is advantageous.
  • A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the required tasks.
  • Willingness and capability to engage in manual labor following both verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of the proper use of tools, materials, and supplies utilized in commercial and interior projects.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items, walk, and stand for extended periods, and perform demanding labor under challenging conditions.
