Key Responsibilities
The Construction Project Supervisor oversees the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. Essential duties include:
- Fostering effective and harmonious working relationships on-site
- Understanding the Contract, each Subcontract, the drawings, and specifications
- Assisting Project Managers in developing on-site procedures
- Reviewing drawings for constructability
- Creating, refining, and updating the Project Schedule
- Implementing quality control measures and safety protocols
- Establishing field office locations, temporary utilities, and staging areas
- Inspecting the activities of Subcontractors, Suppliers, and GMA's labor and materials
- Verifying that each Subcontractor has fulfilled their contractual obligations
- Coordinating with inspection agencies
- Leading weekly coordination meetings and monthly safety discussions
- Reviewing Subcontractors' Daily Reports
