Job Title: Help Desk Associate

Join the Fortune Society Inc. team as a Help Desk Associate and play a vital role in providing day-to-day technical support to our organization's computer network infrastructure.

Job Summary:

The Help Desk Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical support to our staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to staff members via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Install, configure, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software issues, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Perform hardware and software inventory, as well as software license tracking.
  • Assist in training staff on PC usage and basic network operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including step-by-step procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with workstation support, including operating systems, applications, and hardware support in a Windows OS environment.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting client-side networking and connectivity issues.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft and TCP/IP networking, as well as network printing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
  • A+ and Net + Certified preferred.
