Position Summary

LEAD Staffing is collaborating with a reputable commercial construction firm that specializes in diverse projects across the country. We are in search of a skilled and organized Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee the successful delivery of our construction initiatives. This role demands significant travel and the capability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Direct and manage on-site construction operations, ensuring timely completion within project scope and adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety regulations, rectify safety infractions, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise and synchronize the activities of various crews and subcontractors to promote efficient workflows.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction activities meet or surpass industry standards and project specifications.
  • Budget Oversight: Track and manage project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints while upholding quality standards.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain precise records, including daily job reports and time logs, and assist with financial documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with project owners, architects, engineers, and regulatory officials to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Pre-Construction Coordination: Organize pre-construction meetings to align all trades with project objectives.
  • Technology Proficiency: Utilize software tools such as Excel, Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Procore for project management.
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within commercial construction.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport loads up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience managing multiple teams with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear instruction and feedback.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and agreements.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid certification as per OSHA requirements.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours based on project demands.
