We are in search of a skilled Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent who possesses excellent organizational abilities and a proven history in managing construction operations. This role demands extensive travel and the capability to oversee multiple teams and subcontractors on-site.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Direct and manage on-site construction operations, ensuring timely completion, adherence to project scope, and compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Safety Management: Implement safety measures, rectify safety infractions, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and synchronize the activities of various teams and subcontractors to promote efficient work practices.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction activities meet or surpass industry standards and project specifications.
- Budget Oversight: Track and manage project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints while upholding quality standards.
- Documentation Management: Maintain precise records including time logs and daily reports, and assist with financial documentation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory officials to ensure clarity and professionalism.
- Pre-Construction Coordination: Organize pre-construction meetings to align all trades with project objectives.
- Technology Application: Utilize industry-standard software tools to manage project timelines and resources effectively.
- At least 2 years of full-time experience in a supervisory role within commercial construction.
- Physical capability to lift and transport loads as required.
- Proficient in interpreting construction documents and specifications.
- Experience in managing multiple teams with minimal oversight.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and agreements.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications as required.
