Key Responsibilities

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Comprehending the complete scope of work for each project.
  • Overseeing all business aspects of concurrent projects to meet financial objectives while upholding quality standards.
  • Managing production activities, including labor, materials, equipment, and services.
  • Accurately handling workloads in relation to the contracted scope of work.
  • Supervising Crew Chiefs and field teams.
  • Coordinating and scheduling concrete deliveries.
  • Purchasing and tracking material quantities for all projects.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients and ensuring effective communication.
  • Developing and updating accurate schedules and daily reports for each project.
  • Building and sustaining fair relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of field management experience in construction, specifically from a subcontractor's viewpoint, with a focus on concrete.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proven history of successfully managing project costs, schedules, safety, and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required.
  • Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and construction management software such as Timberline and PlanSwift.
  • OSHA 10-hour training certification.
