Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our Program Management division at LaBella Associates. This role will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications, applicable regulations, safety standards, and on-schedule project delivery within the approved budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all project facets, including scheduling, budgeting, coordinating contractors, and conducting quality inspections.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards and procedures, environmental and safety programs, policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Manage contract field construction and maintenance activities at the project site in accordance with approved project documents, established engineering practices, Federal, State, and local laws, and construction industry standards to achieve best-in-class performance.
  • Ensure project team and stakeholders are notified of any deviations in construction safety compliance, environmental compliance, schedule, design, materials, budget, and closeout plans.
  • Review project design and construction documents to ensure constructability and schedule adherence.
  • Review project material requirements to identify items that have not been ordered to support the construction project. Coordinate delivery of materials to construction site.
  • Attend, participate, and may lead scheduled project meetings.
  • Conduct on-site construction management briefings and prepare reports reflecting project status, schedule, and project uncertainties.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate contractor activities.
  • Responsible for contractor evaluations, project reconciliations, and close-out activities following completion of projects.
  • May be required to establish accurate and professional communications with customers during a project.
  • May be required to work extended hours during certain phases of construction projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, or civil engineering.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience on construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of civil site and building construction methods and procedures.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and codes along with construction standards and regulations.
  • OSHA Training.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • The ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully, consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
