Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Superintendent to oversee our operations in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves managing a dedicated team of subcontractors to ensure that all projects are executed safely and meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise subcontractor teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and overall productivity.
  • Coordinate with the internal production team to assess project requirements.
  • Be present on-site, working alongside crews and acting as the primary liaison for homeowners.
  • Monitor job progress and hold teams accountable for achieving established safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
  • Conduct thorough property evaluations, plan construction timelines, estimate costs, and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Schedule inspections and secure necessary construction permits.
  • Order and track equipment and materials to ensure project needs are met.
  • Document all project activities within the Company CRM system.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
  • Address on-site challenges and emergencies promptly, reporting incidents to management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing principles, practices, materials, and tools.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, building codes, and relevant laws.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with tablets and Apple iPads (iPadOS) is a plus.
  • Certification as a Roof Inspector is preferred.
