About the Role

Kosmos Corp is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Caledonia, MS. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Lean Six Sigma: Promote and implement Lean Six Sigma principles to drive process improvements and eliminate waste.
  • Process Improvement Projects: Lead and support process improvement projects to deliver timely results and ensure control.
  • Operational Data Analysis: Analyze operational data, including production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
  • Methodology Development: Develop and implement methodologies for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.
  • Cost Analysis and Financial Planning: Develop management systems for cost analysis and financial planning.
  • Ergonomic Studies: Perform ergonomic studies of jobs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Database Development: Develop database programs to aid in the flow of information.
  • Reporting and Data Tracking: Track and record pertinent data for developmental products and maintain and distribute various reports for management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: 1 year of Process Engineering experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team environment, and excellent communication skills.
