Position Overview:
As a Facility Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of oil and gas production, transmission, and distribution facilities. This role involves both new installations and upgrades to existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to collect data and assess available space for facility modifications.
  • Create flow schematics through detailed walkdowns of oil and gas facilities.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Develop and review P&IDs, mechanical flow sheets, and safety diagrams.
  • Prepare regulatory submissions and conduct engineering studies for liquid and gas piping systems.
  • Perform process design calculations and create process flow diagrams with material balance tables.
  • Engage in Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
  • Design utility systems and interface with vendors for equipment packages.
  • Provide on-site support during construction, commissioning, and startup phases.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a BS degree or higher in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. A minimum of five to seven years of experience in engineering design or project management within the oil and gas sector is required. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and engineering standards is essential.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary. Familiarity with hydraulic simulation tools and design software such as AutoCAD is advantageous.

Safety Credentials:
Completion of safety training, including TWIC and HUET, is required. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to safety and compliance in all engineering practices.
