Job Overview:


As a Facility/Process Engineer, you will be responsible for executing process and mechanical designs for onshore and offshore oil and gas production, transmission, and distribution facilities. This includes overseeing new installations and enhancements to existing terminals, platforms, and pipelines.


Key Responsibilities:
- Travel occasionally for project-related tasks.


- Conduct site visits to collect data and assess available infrastructure for facility improvements.

- Create flow schematics by inspecting oil and gas facilities and collaborating with the drafting team to convert sketches into formal CAD drawings.

- Work effectively with a diverse range of personnel, including engineers, designers, vendors, and management.

- Develop, design, and review P&IDs, mechanical flow sheets, and safety diagrams.

- Prepare necessary regulatory submissions (e.g., BSEE, USCG, ABS).

- Conduct engineering studies and work on liquid and gas piping systems.

- Document process design details and perform engineering studies such as de-bottlenecking and hydraulic analysis.


- Execute Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

- Design process and utility systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

- Provide on-site support during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.


- 5 to 7 years of experience in engineering design or project management within the oil and gas sector.

- Proficient in reviewing Flow Schematics, Piping & Instrument Diagrams, and Equipment Layouts.


- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and applicable codes and standards for oil and gas production facilities.

- Experience in developing technical specifications and engineering studies.

- Willingness to travel to various sites as needed.

- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work overtime when required.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with personnel at all levels.

Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).

Preferred Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Pipe-Flo Advantage, Caesar II, ProMax/Hysis, AutoCAD, and NavisWorks Freedom is advantageous.

Safety Training:
- Required training includes TWIC, Basic Orientation Plus Safety Class, and HUET.
