Key Responsibilities:


Develop and implement life safety and asset safeguarding systems utilizing AutoCAD and specialized software tools, ensuring compliance with local, national, and manufacturer standards.

Oversee contractors to guarantee the correct installation and functionality of systems.
Conduct site assessments to verify appropriate system design and installation practices.
Analyze and apply customer-provided project specifications.
Participate in manufacturer training sessions and ongoing professional development.
Generate operation and maintenance manuals tailored to specific projects.
Revise existing schematics as necessary.
Support engineering staff with tasks related to process enhancement.
Assist in system inspections and maintenance when required.
Contribute to system startups and commissioning processes as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in the Fire Protection sector is essential.
Prior background as a Design Engineer is necessary.
Proficient in 2D drafting using AutoCAD.
Familiarity with and effective use of 3D design software is expected.
Competence in MS Office applications is required.
Strong organizational abilities are essential.
Capability to convey technical information clearly.
Commitment to understanding industry standards.
Willingness to pursue NICET certification through study.
