Position: Controls Engineer

Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 annually

Working Hours:
6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, assess, and set up systems that manage the operations of machinery and various devices.
  • Produce electrical diagrams, circuit layouts, and schematics.
  • Design panel layouts and assemble enclosures.
  • Create designs for enclosure assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify malfunctions in machines and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with process engineers to improve the performance of machinery and process systems.
  • Mentor and provide support to team members within the organization.
  • Familiarity with hardware such as PLCs, HMIs, motor control circuits, VFDs, safety relays, transformers, power supplies, digital and analog signals, ethernet switches, pneumatics, and hydraulics is essential.
  • Minimal travel is expected at this time.

Qualifications:
  • A hands-on individual who enjoys building and repairing equipment.
  • A strong passion for electronics with a willingness to disassemble and reassemble devices.
  • A solid mechanical understanding beyond just circuits and electronics.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Inventor 3D, and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with PLC programming software.
  • Familiarity with Touch Screen (HMI) design and programming software.
  • Competence with general hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, strippers), multimeters, and signal simulators.
