Business Development Manager

PayNearMe is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in the lending sector. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to acquire new business within the Bank and Credit Union verticals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow PayNearMe's footprint in the lending sector.
- Conduct market research, lead engagement, and targeted account prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and bi-annual sales quotas while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide market insights and inform product development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape the evolution of PayNearMe's product offerings and strategy.
- 5+ years of sales experience with a strong focus on payments.
- Proven experience selling Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) solutions to banks and/or credit unions.
- Thorough understanding of lending processes, payments systems, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to engage and present to senior-level executives.
- Familiarity with the Challenger Sales Methodology is a plus.
